Daily Update on Federal Disaster Response in Northwest Indiana
As we continue in the storm recovery, I want to remind residents of the upcoming One-Stop-Shop in Porter County for storm assistance.
Beginning September 9, a One-Stop Shop for Storm Assistance will be available at Woodland Park, bringing together resources and organizations that can help residents navigate recovery and get the support they need.
The One-Stop-Shop at Woodland Park, in the Sycamore Room, 2100 Willowcreek Road in Portage, will be open at the following times:
- Wednesday, September 9: 9:00am to 7:00pm
- Thursday, September 10: 9:00am to 7:00pm
- Friday, September 11: 9:00am to 7:00pm
- Saturday, September 12: 9:00am to 4:00pm
The Information Center will provide an opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses that experienced storm-related damage to meet with representatives from multiple local, state, and federal agencies in one convenient location. Representatives will be available to answer questions, explain available assistance programs, and help eligible individuals and businesses begin the application process for assistance.
