If you are in Porter County, the Porter County Emergency Management Agency and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security have established a One-Stop-Shop Information Center to help residents and businesses affected by the August storm.

The One-Stop-Shop at Woodland Park, in the Sycamore Room, 2100 Willowcreek Road in Portage will be open at the following times:

Wednesday, September 9:      9:00am to 7:00pm
Thursday, September 10:         9:00am to 7:00pm
Friday, September 11:                 9:00am to 7:00pm

The Information Center will provide an opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses that experienced storm-related damage to meet with representatives from multiple local, state, and federal agencies in one convenient location. Representatives will be available to answer questions, explain available assistance programs, and help eligible individuals and businesses begin the application process for assistance.
