Daily Update on Federal Disaster Response in Northwest Indiana
As federal, state, and local entities continue to coordinate government assistance, I want to thank the first responders, linemen, community organizations, churches, and volunteers who continue to work around the clock to help our neighbors in need.
FEMA announced that the Major Disaster Declaration requested by Governor Braun for Indiana has been approved, which means Individuals and Households Assistance, Public Assistance, and Small Business Administration programs are now available to those impacted by the disaster.
