Mrvan announced that Adam Tenbarge II of Chesterton High School is the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition.  Adam used paint and colored pencils to create his winning artwork, “Journey Through Indiana,” which captures the varied landscapes of Northwest Indiana.

Mrvan released the following statement after opposing the House Republican Reconciliation Legislation this morning.  Despite his opposition, the House approved the measure by a vote of 215-214.  The measure has now been referred to the Senate, where it is currently pending consideration.
