Washington, DC – Today, the Indiana congressional delegation sent a letter to President Donald Trump in support of Governor Mike Braun’s August 20, 2026, request for a major disaster declaration following severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that began on August 11.
Congressman Frank J. Mrvan, D-Highland, is applauding the Federal Emergency Management Agency for speeding federal assistance to Northwest Indiana following last week's severe storms that toppled trees and knocked out power to more than 300,000 Region residents.
