Congressman Mrvan hosting 2 community forums Saturday in Lake County

Congressman Frank J. Mrvan is hosting two town hall-style events Saturday in Lake County to listen to the needs of Region residents and update them on what he's accomplished on their behalf in the U.S. House.

The free events featuring the Highland Democrat are scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium at the Lake County Government Center, 2293 N. Main Street, Door S2, Crown Point; and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Calumet College of St. Joseph, 2400 New York Ave., Room 200, Whiting.

"I look forward to providing an update on the 119th Congress and hearing directly from constituents about any issues that are impacting the quality of life in Northwest Indiana," Mrvan said.

The longtime former trustee of Lake County's North Township has represented the 1st Congressional District of Lake, Porter and northwest LaPorte counties in Congress since 2021.
