Congressman Mrvan hosting two community forums Monday

Congressman Frank J. Mrvan is hosting two town hall-style events next week to listen to the needs of Northwest Indiana residents and update them on what he's accomplished on their behalf in the U.S. House.

The Highland Democrat is set to participate in community forums Monday in Porter and Lake counties.

"I look forward to providing an update on the 119th Congress and hearing directly from constituents about any pressing issues of concern," Mrvan said.

The times and locations for the March 9 Community Conversations are:

2-3 p.m., Chesterton Town Hall Community Room, 726 Broadway, Chesterton.
5:30-6:30 p.m., VFW Auxiliary Post 717, 10400 West 93rd Ave., St. John.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Mrvan, a former trustee of Lake County's North Township, has represented Northwest Indiana's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House since 2021.
