Mrvan to join Paladin for grand opening of ‘Success Hub’
Paladin, a Northwest Indiana nonprofit serving adults with disabilities, children and seniors, is proud to announce the grand opening of its first Success Hub, a modern adult learning and community space.
U.S. Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-1st., will join Paladin and community leaders for a press conference and facility tour in the newly furnished Success Hub – part of the nearly completed 24,000-square-foot facility transformation made possible by $1.5 million in federal funding awarded in 2023.
During the Dec. 5, noon event, Mrvan will tour the facility, meet with community members and participants and highlight the transformative impact of this federal investment.
The event will showcase how Paladin is creating engaging, accessible and inclusive spaces that support individuals of all abilities.
Community members are invited to attend, explore the new Success Hub, and learn more about Paladin’s wide range of programs and services that empower people to live, learn and thrive.
Thanks to this federal investment, Paladin has transformed a previously empty warehouse into state-of-the-art environments that promote accessibility, independence and inclusion.
Key features include:
Accessibility improvements and ADA-compliant design
Modern classrooms for skill-building, engagement, and employment readiness
Sensory-friendly and wellness spaces

Mrvan commended Paladin’s continued leadership in advancing inclusive opportunities.
“I thank all of the dedicated leaders and workers of Paladin for their successful initiatives to create a welcoming space for people of all abilities to learn and grow. I look forward to continuing to build on these exemplary services that teach essential life skills and empower people to thrive in Northwest Indiana,” Mrvan said.
Paladin leadership emphasized the long-term vision behind the transformation.
“These purpose-built spaces reflect our mission to provide meaningful opportunities for people of all ages and abilities,” said Steve Hobby, CEO of Paladin.
“We are deeply grateful for the federal investment and Congressman Mrvan’s support, which has allowed us to transform vision into reality. The Success Hub is more than a building – it’s a promise to our participants and our community that everyone deserves a place to thrive,” he added.
The Success Hub, according to Paladin, will serve as a model for inclusive learning and community spaces across the region.
