Mrvan Statement on Passing of USW International President Tom Conway

Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan, Vice Chairman of the Congressional Steel Caucus, released the following statement on the passing of United Steelworkers International President Tom Conway.
“Throughout his illustrious career of being a stalwart champion for working men and women, I am grateful for the consistent presence and advocacy of USW International President Conway on behalf of Northwest Indiana. His leadership and steady voice for the value of organized labor and good-paying union jobs was always front and center at Congressional Steel Caucus hearings and in union halls throughout our region. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
