Mrvan Statement on the Selection of a New Speaker

Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan released the statement below following the selection of a new Speaker of the House.

“After wasting 22 days for the House Majority to finally select a Speaker, I am eager to get back to our necessary work and finalizing appropriations legislation on behalf of the constituents of Indiana’s First Congressional District.  I encourage the new Republican leadership to recommit to governance and finding the common ground that is necessary to move our nation forward.”
