Mrvan Statement on Whiting BP Facility Power Outage

Washington, DC – Rep. Frank J. Mrvan released the following statement on the power outage at the Whiting BP facility. 

“As our office stays in close communication with BP, EPA, IDEM, and other state and local entities, our priority will continue to be the safety of our workers and all individuals and community members.  I am grateful for the swift coordination and quick action of all of the first responders and environmental officials for protecting our communities.”
