Purdue University Northwest has received a  $7,158,034 from the U.S. Department of Energy. 

According to a news release from U.S. Rep. Frank Mrvan's office, the funding was awarded through the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The money will support research projects that aim to reduce industrial greenhouse gas emissions.
